Still Spirits American Oak Chips Untoasted 1kg

Untoasted American Oak Chips can be used in low doses at fermentation , and also ageing of the spirit, to emulate barrel characteristics. Use low doses at fermentation at the rate of 1-2 grams per litre of spirit. Use paringly as it can impart a heavy woody flavour to the final spirit. Can be used at maturation stage to impart softer character. Soak chips for 5-7 days then strain. To learn more about distilling read Moonshine Made Simple (B. Ford).
